BrickBudget compares recorded retailer prices and BrickLink price-guide benchmarks from your selected sources. An item subtotal helps plan your build; confirm the final amount at each store's checkout.
What do BrickLink prices mean?
BrickLink sources labelled minimum or average are price-guide benchmarks, separated by new and used condition. A minimum is a reference floor, not a promise that one seller has your full quantity at that price. An average is a comparison benchmark, not an offer. These figures do not establish seller stock, shipping, order minimums or the final cost of a basket. Review actual sellers on BrickLink before buying.
What does the item subtotal include?
It adds the available prices or selected benchmarks for the quantities in your budget. A benchmark-based subtotal is an estimate, not a purchasable seller basket. Shipping, checkout fees and order minimums are not included. Missing prices are not free items: check any unavailable or unpriced parts before buying. BrickBudget does not separately calculate taxes. Confirm the final tax and total at checkout.
Which stores and currencies are compared?
Your currency selection filters the available stores. BrickBudget does not convert currencies. Comparisons use stores in the selected currency, and some stores sell only sets or only parts. A lower item subtotal split across stores can still cost more after shipping.
See retailers and regional coverageAre prices and availability guaranteed?
No. BrickBudget fetches its latest recorded prices when you browse or price a budget. A store may have changed its price, stock or offer conditions since that record was collected. Check the linked store before buying; an unavailable price does not establish that the item is unavailable everywhere.
How are whole-set savings calculated?
Smart Suggestions compares a set's price with the value of the required parts it covers, at your selected part prices. Extra parts may add value to your collection, but that value is not cash saved on this build. Compare the revised item subtotal and any remaining parts before accepting a suggestion.
